Humaira Asghar died on October 7 and was suffering from financial crisis: Investigation reveals

Karachi (Daily Online) More revelations have come to light in the investigation into the death of actress Humaira Asghar.

According to details, the investigating officers seized three mobile phones and a tablet found in the actress’s flat and examined the material obtained from them. After this, the officers concluded that the deceased was in financial crisis at the time of her death.

Officers said that Humaira Asghar's phone was last used on October 7 at 5 pm. They contacted 14 people on October 7, 2024, but the actress did not contact anyone during this time. Investigating officers say that it can be deduced from this that the actress died on October 7. Diaries and documents have also been found in her flat.

The investigating officers further said that there were 3 SIM cards in Humaira Asghar's name, all three SIM cards were installed in the phone, while there was no password on Humaira Asghar's 2 mobile phones.

Humaira Asghar's body was found in a flat in Ittehad Commercial on July 8 when a court bailiff arrived at her home after the landlord went to court for non-payment of rent. And when the door of the flat was not opened, the actress's body was found when the door was broken. The initial post-mortem report of the body states that the body is in the final stage of decomposition, which suggests that the actress's death is about 8 to 10 months old.
