Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that Azerbaijan is ready to invest $ 2 billion in Pakistan, the president of the brotherly country had talked about signing a Memorandum of Understanding of $ 2 billion during the visit, now the message has come that he is waiting and Islamabad should prepare.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired an important meeting of the federal cabinet in which the political and economic situation of the country was reviewed.

According to Dawn News, several items of the federal cabinet meeting chaired by the Prime Minister have been postponed, it has been decided to reconvene the cabinet meeting tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

Addressing the federal cabinet, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that he has completed a successful visit to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the Saudi Crown Prince expressed good wishes for Pakistan, held one-on-one and delegation-level meetings with the Saudi Crown Prince.

The Prime Minister said that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman once again expressed his best wishes for Pakistan and had a very friendly discussion regarding Pakistan's development and investment.

The Prime Minister said that as a result of the meetings held in Saudi Arabia, the Pakistani delegation will soon go to Saudi Arabia.

The Prime Minister said that like Saudi Arabia, the one-and-a-half-day visit to Qatar was also very successful, delegation-level and one-on-one meeting was held with the Emir of Qatar.

The Prime Minister further said that during the meetings in Qatar, it was decided that the two countries would move forward quickly with regard to the promise of $ 3 billion made by Qatar in the past.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif along with the delegation made an official visit to Saudi Arabia and Qatar last week where he addressed the Saudi Future Investment Initiative 2024 held in Riyadh and later held one-on-one and delegation-level meetings with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. But Qatar had promised to invest $ 3 billion in Pakistan.
