The grand ceremony of change of command in Pakistan Army will take place today

The solemn ceremony of the change of command in the Pakistan Army will take place at the Army Hockey Stadium after a while. General Qamar Javed Bajwa will hand over the baton of command to General Asim Munir.

According to ARY News, the grand ceremony of the change of command in the Pakistan Army will take place at the Army Public Stadium after some time. The ceremony will begin with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

In the ceremony, outgoing Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa will hand over the baton of command to General Asim Munir. On this occasion, General Qamar Javed will deliver his farewell address while he will be presented with a guard of honour.

On this occasion, attendance on the memorial martyrs and Fatiha will also be performed.

The new Army Chief General Asim Munir is the 17th Army Chief to assume the command of Pakistan Army.

Former military leadership will also participate in the change of command ceremony held at GHQ, while federal ministers, foreign diplomats have also been invited to attend the ceremony and senior civil officials and important media personalities have also been invited.
