An official of the Indian board told the news agency about the future plan and said that there will be a completely new team in the next T20 World Cup. While most of the senior players will be restricted to ODIs and Tests, it is certain that the next edition in 2024 will not have many senior players.

 The official of the Indian board says that BCCI has never asked any player to retire, next year the focus will be on ODI cricket less T20. Next year, India will play only 12 T20 International matches in total, in which the new combination will get a chance.
