"The government is obligated to fulfill these agreements; else, the country risks defaulting," she told reporters outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC). She stated that the coalition administration was making major decisions to stabilize the economy and implement the PTI government's IMF accords.

She claimed Imran Khan, the country's previous prime minister, messed with the economy during his four-year tenure. He struck an agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to raise the price of petroleum products and levy on it. She claimed that the PTI government did not purposefully raise the price of petroleum goods before leaving office.

She said the DG ISPR's latest remark was founded on facts because he was a representative of security agencies and institutions who were aware of everything. "You can't offer a lie as the truth," she added.

Maryam claimed Imran Khan was a proven liar, citing the National Security Committee's repeated statements that no foreign conspiracy against the PTI administration had been discovered. She claimed that Imran Khan jeopardised state institutions and the country's security for petty political gain, and that the former PTI government should have informed the people about its four-year record. She went on to say that former Prime Minister Imran Khan mortgaged the country to the IMF in exchange for loans, and that the current government was obligated to follow through on his promises.

The PMLN vice president claimed her father's statement on ex-president Pervez Musharraf was based on humanitarian considerations because her father did not believe in revenge.
