Alleged police encounter in Sahiwal, 2 dacoits shot dead by their own comrades

Two dacoits were killed and four others escaped during an alleged police encounter near a private housing scheme in Sahiwal.

According to DSP Mehr Yousuf, six dacoits were carrying out a robbery at a citizen's house when the City Circle police arrived at the spot.

Mehr Yousuf said that the police chased the dacoits and during the encounter 2 dacoits were shot dead by their own comrades while the other 4 managed to escape and their search is on.
