Iranian President to visit Pakistan on July 26
Islamabad (Salam Arz-e-Pakistan) Iranian President Dr. Masoud Peshmerga will pay an official visit to Pakistan on July 26 this month. According to the Foreign Office, the Iranian President will hold meetings with the top leadership of Pakistan, including the President, the Prime Minister and other important government figures.
The meetings are expected to discuss important topics such as regional and global issues of mutual interest, trade cooperation, border security, energy and people-to-people relations. This visit of the Iranian President is taking place at a time when both countries are active in resolving common challenges, promoting peace and stability in the region and economic cooperation. It should be noted that Pakistan had supported Iran’s position during the recent Iran-Israel tensions. Pakistan had also condemned Israeli aggression at the United Nations and other global platforms and supported Iran’s right to territorial security. Various agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) are also expected to be signed during the visit, which will create new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries. The Pakistani government, welcoming the Iranian President’s visit, has started preparations for a full protocol and reception.
