Terrorist attack on police in Lucky Marwat, 4 officers including DSP Iqbal Mohmand were martyred



Lucky Marwat: Four officers including DSP Iqbal Mohmand were martyred and five were injured as a result of the terrorist attack on the police.

According to the details, terrorists attacked police station Sadar in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as a result of which 5 police personnel were injured while the terrorists escaped due to police firing.

DSP Iqbal Momand went to Sadar police station on the information of the incident, when DSP's armored vehicle collided with explosives near Peerwala Mor, as a result of which 4 officers including DSP Iqbal Momand were martyred.


The martyred soldiers include Waqar, Ali Marjan and Sepoy Karamatullah, while Sardar Ali, the driver of the armored vehicle (APC) in the DSP convoy, was injured and shifted to the hospital.

After the incident, the police has started a large-scale search operation in the area, while the funeral prayers of DSP and 4 police martyrs who were martyred in the terrorist attack will be offered today at Police Line Lucky Marwat.

It should be remembered that last month too, terrorists attacked Bakhmal Ahmedzai police post in Lucky Marwat, which was foiled by using modern equipment.

Earlier in January, terrorists attacked a police post in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Lakki Marwat district, to which the police retaliated vigorously, as a result of which the terrorists escaped.
