According to the report of Web Beta Info, a website that monitors the activities of WhatsApp, "WhatsApp has now started working on the feature of adding voice notes status for iPhone users."

The report stated that 'users will now be able to post their voice notes not only in chats but also on statuses.

A screenshot has also been shared by the website, in which it can be seen that 'Voice notes will be set in the same way as normal statuses and a message can also be written along with it.'

It was earlier reported that WhatsApp will soon introduce this feature for Android users, but no final date has been announced.

Also, it will be entirely up to the user who they want to share the voice note status with.

Initially, WhatsApp users will be able to add 60 seconds i.e. one minute voice note on status, later its duration can be increased.

It should be noted that WhatsApp will also introduce a polling feature in the application.
