Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, an estranged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA, died in Karachi

His servant discovered the disgruntled PTI MP unconscious at his home and rushed him to a private hospital in a severe condition.

He was 49 years old when he died. He was a well-known TV host and MNA.



.According to authorities, Liaquat's condition worsened early in the morning, prompting his transfer to a private hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

The National Assembly Speaker, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, immediately delayed the session until 5 p.m. on Friday after hearing the news.

In March 2018, Liaquat joined the PTI and was elected as an MNA from Karachi in the general elections.

Hussain, who was born in July 1971, was initially elected to the Pakistani National Assembly in the 2002 general election on the Muttahida Qaumi Movement's platform from the NA-249 constituency, and was later appointed as Minister of State for Religious Affairs.

Hussain served as Minister of State for Religious Affairs until July 2007, when his party requested that he quit from both his ministerial position and his National Assembly membership.

He was expelled from MQM later that year.

A police investigation has been launched.
The police in Karachi have initiated an investigation into the murder of the PTI leader and searched his home in Khudadad Colony.

According to the SSP East, authorities are investigating Aamir Liaquat's death and have chosen to do a post-mortem because the televangelist died in unusual circumstances.

In the meantime, a three-member board has been created to conduct a PTI MNA post-mortem.







Condolences have poured in from all across the world. President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed their grief and sorrow over MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain's untimely demise. In a statement, the president asked for the deceased's forgiveness as well as the forgiveness of his superiors.



Murad Ali Shah, the Chief Minister of Sindh, and Murtaza Wahab, the spokesperson, both expressed their condolences and prayers for MNA's death.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Rashid, the former interior minister, prayed for the deceased family.
