Karachi: The medical report of Nimrah Kazmi, who got married of her choice, was presented in the court, according to which Nimrah is between 17 and 18 years of age.
According to details, a case related to recovery of Nimrah Kazmi was heard in Sindh High Court. Nimrah Kazmi's parents reached Sindh High Court while Najib Shah Rukh's lawyer Farooq Ahmed appeared in the court. During the hearing, the medical report of Nimrah Kazmi was presented in the court by the police. The report stated that according to the medical report, Nimrah is between 17 and 18 years of age.
The public prosecutor said that most of them are around 17 years of age while the accused lawyer said that the medical report of the girl has been received and the case should be dismissed. Justice Iqbal Kalhoro said that we record the statement of the girl, the mother said in the court that the statement of the girl will be heard, I am the mother who will listen to me, on which Justice Iqbal Kalhoro said send the case to trial court. And send Nimrah Kazmi to Dar-ul-Aman.
The court said that they direct the trial court to decide on custody. The court questioned Nimrah Kazmi that there was no problem with her son. They recorded her statement that she had gone voluntarily or was abducted.
Nimrah Kazmi told the court that no, I went voluntarily, Justice Iqbal Kalhoro questioned Nimrah Kazmi that you were abducted, Nimrah Kazmi said that I went alone of my own free will.
Justice Iqbal Kalhoro said that children also have rights when they grow up, on which the accused lawyer Najeeb Shah Rukh asked the court to stop anyone from meeting the girl.
Justice Agha Faisal remarked that you have not filed this petition, why stop meeting anyone.
The court directed the police to submit the challan of the case in the trial court as per law and said that Nimrah Kazmi will be allowed to meet the parents and husband, custody of Nimrah Kazmi and other matters will be decided by the trial court while Nimrah Kazmi. She will remain in Darulaman. Later, the Sindh High Court disposed of the petition regarding the recovery of Nimrah Kazmi.
