The independent Higher Education Commission is in charge of overseeing higher education in Pakistan. Incorporated in 1974 as the University Grants Commission, it underwent a reformation in 2002 to become the HEC.

As part of the project National Center of Cyber Security NCCS to establish the Critical Infrastructure Protection and Malware Analysis Lab at PIEAS, funded by the Higher Education Commission HEC of Pakistan, applications are being accepted for the positions of (Business Development Manager and Research Assistant).
