Introduction:

The Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat is looking for qualified and suitable candidates for the positions of Advisors/Senior Advisors at FTO Secretariat Headquarters Islamabad and its Regional Offices located in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Sukkur, and Abbottabad.

This appointment will be made on a Contract Basis. The Advisors/Senior Advisors are going to be hired to investigate maladministration in matters/taxpayers’ complaints relating to Customs, Income Tax, Sales Tax & Federal Excise; suggest systemic improvements in tax policies, laws, regulations, and procedures.

The eligibility criteria of these positions demand Retired BS-21/22 Officers of the CSS occupational groups preferably Customs/Inland Revenue Service/retired District & Session Judges with experience in handling Customs, /Incom Tax/Sales Tax & Federal Excise Cases with a minimum of 20 years experience in Government/Semi-Government Organizations.

Candidates who are already serving in Government Organizations/Departments shall provide NOC from their respective organizations at the time of the Test/Interview.
