PAKvWI: ODI series to be shifted to Multan from Rawalpindi, claims sources
According to sources, the ODI series between Pakistan and the West Indies has been moved to Multan due to political tensions in the country.
According to reports, the PCB has received direct orders from the federal government to relocate the series to Multan, and as a result, the PCB has begun making hotel and flight reservations.
Officials from the board have been in contact with the government, since a decision on the series' host location must be made this week in order to finish the logistics on time.
The Pakistani team's training camp will begin on June 1, with the West Indies arriving on June 5.
The three-match ODI series is set to take place at the Pindi Cricket Stadium from June 8 to 12. The matches are part of the International Cricket Council's World Cup Super League.
